God Knocking.

Already, this morning I have come across twice the verse in Revelation 3 and verse 20. I thought that I must mention it to you!

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."

I am aware that this verse is often taken out of it's context. The Application Bible makes this comment...

The Laodicean church was complacent and rich. They felt self-satisfied, but they didn't have Christ's presence among them. Christ knocked at the door of their hearts, but they were so busy enjoying worldly pleasures that they didn't notice that he was trying to enter..."

If you find yourself being indifferent to the things of God, like Church and the Bible etc., you have begun to shut God out of your life.

This is a very terrible thing to do. You must take steps to reverse this situation.

Have a great day,

Peter Clark.
