God Bless You.

The model for blessing people was first seen in Numbers 6:24-26.

Numbers 6:24-26 (New International Version)

²⁴ " ' "The LORD bless you
and keep you;

²⁵ the LORD make his face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;

²⁶ the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace." '

If and when we bless people we are conveying to them 5 thoughts:

1. Favour and protection

2. God being pleased with you.

3. God being merciful and compassionate.

4. God giving you His approval.

5. God's peace.
