Living Life Like The Judges!

I was reminded this morning of the cycle of living that people in the time of the "Judges" lived.

They lived for the Lord....and then they forgot Him....they lived for the Lord....and they forgot Him and so on.

In Chapter 4 (of Judges) Ehud died and off go the Israelites ....again.... doing evil in the eyes of God...forgetting Him and leaving Him out of their lives.

They become cruelly oppressed by the Canaanites and end up (after twenty years mind you) crying to the Lord for help.

God raises up Deborah, she becomes the next "Judge" or leader of the nation and they have a time of faithfulness.
