Acts 13:12 "When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord."
More often than not - it is the unexpected person who ends up becoming a follower of Jesus.
Let us not give up on our relatives and friends, work colleagues etc. If they seem too hard, or give the appearance of never coming to Christ - just keep praying.
