This morning in my reading I was struck by David's reliance on God. I was reading 2 Samuel 5.
First of all, we see David becoming "more and more powerful, because the LORD God Almighty was with him"
Then David "enquired of the LORD" twice regarding going to war with Philistines.
This turned out to be a characteristic of the life of David and probably reflects his heart - that he had for God.
If we want "Help Along Life's Way" then this is very good advice for us.
