Paul and Silas are in prison in Philippi.
While they are there, a violent earth quake strikes.
Paul and Silas's jailer is terrified that the prisoners are going to escape and he will be put to death for not stopping them escaping.
Paul assures him that the prisoners are going nowhere.
The response of the jailor is, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30)
Paul and Silas reply, "Believe (trust/commit) in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household." (v.31)
