At some point or other we are all in need of assurance.
We are all in need of knowing afresh that the salvation we have "signed up for" is real.
In Acts 13 verses 38,39 Paul is re-assuring those in Pisidian Antioch that there is a faith which we can be sure of.
He has already told them that God had raised Jesus from death to life (v.30).
Now he says:
I want you to know, my very dear friends, that it is on account of this resurrected Jesus that the forgiveness of your sins can be promised. (The Message)
