In my reading this morning I was up to Matthew 13, where the parable of the weeds is explained. There is a description of what happens to the weeds - not very pleasant - who would want to be a weed!!!!!
In contrast, then we have the righteous.....
Matthew 13:43 (New International Version, ©2010)
43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.
Those who receive God's favour stand in bright contrast to those who receive God's judgement.
