John 5:24 (The Message)
Jesus says...
24"It's urgent that you listen carefully to this: Anyone here who believes what I am saying right now and aligns himself with the Father, who has in fact put me in charge, has at this very moment the real, lasting life and is no longer condemned to be an outsider. This person has taken a giant step from the world of the dead to the world of the living.
It is as though Jesus says...."there is something bigger going on here....let this lift you out of your sadness".
Paul says, "what is pure...what is lovely....think on these things".
Having said that....I realise that sometimes our sadness has a medical base...and what we might need is a holiday....someone to talk to ....or some medicine from our Doctor.
There may well be a very good reason for us to be sad....feel the feeling.
