Great Hope.

In John 11 (on the death of Lazarus) Jesus encourages Mary and Martha with these words:

"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"


They are fantastically, encouraging words. It is no wonder that they are included in the funeral service. That is a period in people's lives that they need to be pointed to great hope.
