In Samuel's farewell speech to the nation one of the things he told the people was this....
"But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you." (1 Samuel 12:24)
Hold the LORD in awe, serve Him well and remember what He has done for us (we actually do that as we partake of the Lord's Supper).
