A few weeks ago I preached on "gaining the whole world, but losing your soul"
It occurred to me that it is possible to have the whole world and to have a desolate life.
In Ezekiel 15:8 God warns His people, "I will make the land desolate because they have been unfaithful, declares the Sovereign LORD."
If we are unfaithful, our lives will never reach the potential of joy and peace that we are capable of.
