Riots In Our Streets.

My reading today from Galatians 4 and 5 outlines the difference of grace and law.

Children from the line of Hagar are in slavery whereas children from Sarah (and Abraham) are children of grace and promise.

It describes the two children as "a son born in the ordinary way...." and the son born by the power of the Spirit" (v.29)

That full verse reads, "At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit."

That is interesting isn't it? When we see the hatred coming out last Saturday.

True religion surely should be expressing the character of God.

Paul goes on to write, "The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love." (5:6)

Have a great day,

Peter Clark.
