The Grace Of Giving.

As Paul writes to the Christians living in Corinth he encourages them to be generous in their giving.

He says in verse 7b "...see that you also excel in this grace of giving."

Prior to that Paul has been telling the Corinthians about the Macedonian Christians - they had been very generous....

.....but they had not just given money......."they gave themselves first to the Lord, and then to us." (v.5)

That is the important thing....we must first give ourselves to the Lord, totally.
