If That Is What You Wanted

In the last half of Romans Chapter 1 we see the refrain of "God gave them over...".

Why did God give them over?

They "exchanged"...

..."the glory of the immortal God for images..."

..."the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served created things..."

..."Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones"


What did God give them over to?

..."sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another"

..."to shameful lusts."

..."to a depraved mind, to do what not ought to be done."

Is that what you really want? To be given over by God?

I don't think so.
